Is there any clue how many axles it has? It can be plenty of models https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sisu_R-141 . If nothing can be seen I believe it's a 1970-82 Sisu R-14, possibly leaning towards the first years of production as they later got square head lights. |

When naming HGV's one usually take into consideration how many "corners" it has, that is counting how many wheels that are visible when looking at it from the side and multiplying the result with two. That is the first figure. The second figure is how many of those axles that are driven. The result might be e.g 4x4, 6x2 or 8x4. The Sisu above has six corners of which two are driven. The latter can be seen as the two rear wheels aren't looking the same. Hence it's a 1970-82 Sisu R-142. -- Last edit: 2016-10-08 12:04:17 |
