Volvo bought White in the 1980's https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Motor

The blue rectangular logo in the lower left part of the grille shows a 1988-96 WhiteGMC. The logo of a 1981-87 (Volvo-)White truck would be on top of the grille:

(White // WhiteGMC - Both owned by Volvo, hence the thin oblique bar in the grille)

... and the aerodynamic headlamps indicate an Aero Series (1). The lack of sleeper cab makes it more precisely a WCA (WhiteGMC Conventional Aero):

1: The Aero line was apparently unveiled in 1987 as (Volvo-)White model, one year before the GMC "large truck operations" was merged with the Volvo White Truck Corporation.

The headlamps is sourced from the US-spec 240.

@ atom:
What makes these headlamps specifically US-spec sourced? US and European headlamps seem to be the same, and in both case, the blinkers are different from the ones of the truck?

Invisible difference: EU have reflector giving asymmetrical dip light, US symmetrical.

The difference is not invisible, it's quite easy to see actually. It can even be seen in the blurry main image above.

The EU headlight have a plastic housing with a removable square reflector, the lens is of glass. On the US/CDN headlight the reflector and housing is in one piece, the reflector is round and the lens is of plastic.

@ atom:
Thanks for the explanation. Once more, it becomes obvious once known :)

Don't worry, we won't steal your job ;)
