Is that an Oldsmobile taillights? |

They sure are? A 1968-72 'Flat Top' Cutlass wagon. (As opposed to the Vista Cruiser, which has a raised section of it's roof, and has those glass panels in it? And many also don't know this: Vista Cruisers were longer cars, extra few inches of length in the rear floorboards?? If you see the two side by side 1966-72,you'll notice this?? Back doors are longer.) -- Last edit: 2016-08-02 02:10:51 |

One piece taillights narrow it to 1970-1972. The spoiler/wind deflector hides the roofline, I'm not sure it's not a Vista Cruiser. |

Cutlass Cruiser. 70-72. 116 inch wheel base like the 4drs and flattop. Vistas had longer wheelbase. 70 tailights while the same as 71 and 72 had little chrome fingers on the taillight fins. Thusly this is probably a 71-72 Cutlass Cruiser. -- Last edit: 2016-09-01 04:07:19 |

You know it could be a 70-72 Buick Sport wagon. Those taillights look too skiny to be Olds. Steering wheel doesnt look Olds. Buick had an odd chrome air deflector wing different than Olds A body wagons. This is a tough one. -- Last edit: 2016-09-01 04:40:02 |

[quote=rjluna2]Is that an Oldsmobile taillights?[/quote Buick. Because: Chrome rear wind deflector. Buick steering wheel and Dash. Taillights are similar to Olds but not the same. -- Last edit: 2016-09-01 04:34:35 |

This is a 70-72 Buick Sportwagon. Buick went to flat top A body wagons in 70-72. They also had a chrome deflector wing on the back that Olds did not have. I took one off a Buick wagon in a junkyard once. Sold it on ebay. Steering wheel not Olds. Not the Olds dash either. http://hooniverse.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/P4020014-720x567.jpg -- Last edit: 2016-09-01 04:16:30 |

Chrome spoiler makes it a 70-72 Buick Sport Wagon. Olds didnt have a chrome wind deflector. Buick Steering wheel and dash. Olds and Buick A Body wagons used the same rear bumper and tailgate. Tailights for Olds and Buick are similar but not the same. wow. Had me fooled for a while. Link to "upload.wikimedia.org" -- Last edit: 2016-09-01 04:35:48 |

Flat top wagons ride on 116 inch four door wheel base. I think the Olds Vista and Buick glass tops are 120 inch wheelbase shorter than the GM full size wagons' 121 or so (Custom Cruiser, Grand Safari, Kingswood Estate etc. . Back doors are bigger on glass top Vistas than flattops. Ive owned 3 Vistas and one flattop Cutlass. Springs are also too soft on flattops. -- Last edit: 2016-09-01 04:46:18 |

The 1970-72 Sportwagons have flat taillights, so it is not one of them. It could be a 1968-69 Sportwagon, which did have similar taillights to the 1970-72 Vista Cruiser. ![]() ![]() ![]() I actually think this is a 1968 SportWagon; there appears to be a gap at the bottom of the taillights on the Vista Cruiser and not on the SportWagon, this seems to have no gap. It's also missing headrests, which appeared in 1969. -- Last edit: 2016-09-01 07:26:45 |

Good observation on the missing headrest. I missed that very obvious fact. That would narrow it to 68. I think Buick called both the flattop and glass top wagons Sportwagons? Hard to find pictures with those metal chrome wind deflectors. I took a chrome deflector wing off a junkyard 70-72 Sportwagon and sold it on Ebay. Buick abandoned the sky glass wagon after 69 with 70-72 A Body Buick wagons being flattops. Not sure of the Buick wheel base 70-72. Definitely a Buick steering wheel and dash. Olds and Buick used the same rear bumpers and tailgates. -- Last edit: 2016-09-02 04:03:37 |
