I gave it four stars because it is referred to in the episode title, "The Bus," and the entire episode takes place in or around the bus. Radar, Col. Potter, Hawkeye, B.J. and Frank are all returning from a medical conference and Radar, who is driving, gets lost, then the bus breaks down. However, it makes a number of appearances over the years (some two star, some even three star), as early as ep. 3.2 ("Rainbow Bridge," 1974) and as late as the series' 1983 finale, "Goodbye, Farewell and Amen." 3.2 (three stars): -- Last edit: 2015-09-06 14:35:56 |

In the series finale, "Goodbye, Farewell and Amen" (11.16), the bus has a very important role. Assuming they used the same bus for the interior shots, it appears they actually restored the original seating for a few scenes, since most of them were taken out in favor of beds so it could be used as an ambulance bus. |

Was this also the bus from that ultra dark "It wasn`t a chicken... It was a baby!" -moment? |

Yes, truckface, in fact the third in that last batch of thumbnails is from that scene. |

In the episode "the bus", the reason it doesn't starts when Radar tries it "one last time", you can here the starter motor bendix spring dropping the starter motor off the flywheel, and spinning the starter without any load. Somehow, the north korean fixes this, go figure! |

If the Korean War went from 51 to 53 its not likely there going to have 1954 Ford F 500 Bus in Korea |

As bus, it's a B-Series. The wheel rims indicate a B-500 or a B-600 → B-Series |

If this is the same bus in "The Late Captain Pierce", there's a clear "Ford F-" cowl badge at 7:36. The number isn't all that clear, though, but I think it's 500. |

Can anyone confirm the serial number on the hood? In one of tv_boy's photos, it looks like 182107175. |
