Autumn 55 plate - I was expecting something older. Jowett Javelin in main - at least 3 seen during film, but none worth capture. What's black with bumper dip in thumb?? Could get a page if interesting??

With those tall skinny wire wheels the Jag has to be a Mk IV.

Definitely forties, you cannot trust number plates without further supporting info, I agree with NZ.

Although it is difficult to see headlamps and sidelamps, this car shall be a 1947+ 2 1/2 or 3 1/2 Litre Jaguar, also called as Mark IV, after Mark V Jaguar be in production. The photo of the Citroen make it clear: it is a 6 cylinder and post war ( built in sidelamps, large headlamps and side mouldings very close to rear fender).
