New entry now I've got better quality source. Very background but it looks unusual and is onscreen for a fair time, although static so no better view possible. Looks coachbuilt for transporting big things or a recovery vehicle?? Shiny Bedford-ish grille?? If impossible, I'll ditch the page. |

That was my first thought too,there are definite similarities http://www.bbc.co.uk/ahistoryoftheworld/objects/23HAfugkQd-yWNRSby0XfA but it could also be just a flashy cab on any chassis built by one of the many bodybuilders . Not a crew cab but it appears to have strorage lockers behind the cab. Company name not legible but registration something like... XWE545 or XME545? Vehicle bodywork probably by Jennings Sandbach, Cheshire both by the cab appearance and windscreen design also their connections with Rowe Hillmaster, ERF and Foden. |
