Vauxhall Astra - the alloy wheels suggest high end model above GL (GLS?) before MY 1984 I believe by the size of the door mirrors -- Last edit: 2015-04-29 14:52:32 |

IIA 9829 = YELLOW 1976 OTHERS ZETA STC CHILLER ZETA MOPED ..... . Not sure if alloys or Halfords wheel trims. No tints, but enough shiny stuff for GL at least. |

The alloys are o.e. Opel/Vauxhall I know them well. GL had steel four slot wheels as standard these are options or GLS if that existed. |

GL was top of tree for Mk1 Astra. No trace of any GLS - Mk2 introduced CDi level. |

The same alloy wheels found on the Opel Kadett D so possibly an option therefore on Astra MkI. ![]() I was working in Germany at the time and had the chance to order a private import Kadett rather than buying in the UK, and the options were far more numerous, but the base L and GL cars were also less well specified. Vauxhall Astra with "Optional Sports Alloy Road Wheels - GL only" from the brochure. ![]() -- Last edit: 2015-04-29 18:28:50 |
