I am actually leaning to Catalina -- Last edit: 2015-01-30 16:21:43 |

my vote is for Bonneville per lettering on driver's side grille. Illegible but a single word, which appears longer than "Catalina" or "Pontiac" ![]() -- Last edit: 2015-01-30 16:51:12 |

In 1971, convertibles were in the Catalina and Grand Ville series |

ah, you're right. 1971 Grand Ville, then, for sure. ![]() --Per lettering, looks longer than "Pontiac," which appeared on the Catalina Convertibles. ![]() --Also note chromed wheel rims (though they might be available on all full-sized models) --Lastly, dealer plate = new car: the local Pontiac dealer would more likely loan out their top-of-line model for a Rodeo Parade. -- Last edit: 2015-01-30 18:30:05 |

1971 Grand Ville. Only full size Pontiac convertibles in '71 were Catalina and Grand Villle. This one has chrome strips along the rocker panels. Catalina did not have the chrome strips, only the Grand Ville. |
