With a gas generator mounted on the back. There can't be too many cars fitted with those still in use. |

In Germany a few one in museums. It´s about the same here, the cars using it during the war were converted back as soon as there was gas available again. There are some cars around today, from that period, that has been equipped with gas generators and som more modern cars like those ingo linked to. The army converted a 1974 Volvo 144 during the energy crisis of the seventies, that one is still alive but not used as far as I know. |
