A wonder! Such a car survived a modern action movie ![]() Or happened something during the making-of? |

A character in the film says its a Boss 429. Is it really? Visually it seems so I guess. If it really is maybe that could be added to the description. /vehicles.php?make=Ford&model=Mustang+Boss+429&modelMatch=1&modelInclModel=on |

Its actually a Mach 1. But its very easy to mistake it for a Boss 429 and apparently that is exactly what happened in the movie and I'm sure it would happen in the real world as well. |

The tip off is that is does not have the correct hood scoop for a 429 BOSS an the Boss did not have a rear deck spoiler |

Exclusive video on Top Gear website - http://www.topgear.com/uk/car-news/john-wick-exclusive-clip-2015-04-09 Description claims it as a "rare" Boss 429 7.0 V8. I still have my doubts though. |

Is this model he's driving an auto or stick? |

Quite hard to tell, when the stripes for the mach 1 and boss names are missing. |

Based on a scene when he backs out of the garage, I believe the car is an automatic. |

Actually, in the movie, it was a Boss 429. John Wick confirms this in the gas station scene, but in real life it's not real. |

It was common in 1969 for Boss 429 owners to add louvres and spoilers on their Boss 429s. |

Uhh in the movie it was black and I thought it was a boss 429 cj |

He doesn't confirm, he just looks at him because he knows the young doesn't know much about cars, as he had just mistaken it for a 1970. |

It's a sportsroof, not a coupé ![]() |

It has the wrong hood scoop to be a Boss 429 and it has the pop open Mach 1 style gas cap not found on a Boss. -- Last edit: 2019-05-17 02:53:58 |

It’s a ‘69 or 70 definitely. I agree that the Boss 429 did not come with a rear spoiler |
◊ 2019-06-24 03:12 |
No, it’s definitely a ‘69 |

After a bit of research, i’d bet a sizeable chunk of my earthly wealth on it being a Mach 1. The bonnet pins are the dead giveaways for me |
