Definitely not a Ford. Looks to be a circa 1931 Chrysler product but can't see clearly enough for positive id. |

Thanks, nzcarnerd. Good place to start. Door handles are inside the raised body strip, not below it, so can't be a '32 if it's a Chrysler product. '28 -'31 model, Plymouth, Dodge, DeSoto, Chrysler. Visor over windshield? Can't really tell. ... maybe someone else can weigh in here. -- Last edit: 2014-05-12 21:04:25 |

here's another view at @6:50. Slightly different angle. ![]() Spare on driver's side, a little better view of grille & headlights. Any help? -- Last edit: 2014-05-13 06:20:25 |

I notice it has no cowl lights which would suggest Plymouth - the similar bodied DeSoto, Dodge and Chrysler versions had them - but it doesn't look right so I think it might actually be something else entirely. A closer look and I see the dip in the centre of the bumper and small lights on the front fenders. More thinking to do. -- Last edit: 2014-05-13 03:10:56 |

![]() ![]() LaSalle had front fender lights in '29, but didn't look like this car otherwise. At the same time, it looks like there's only one fender light and perhaps it's small enough to be something else. Maybe this car is something like a low-end Graham-Paige? -- Last edit: 2014-06-08 22:21:13 |
