XJ8, because of the chrome surrounding of the rear lights:![]() ![]() XJ6 // XJ8. Click... It's a 2003-2007 pre face-lift model, which is confirmed (if necessary) by the plates, assigned in 2003 (2003 = 730 PJH 75 to 465 PSX 75). The plate hint is of course only valid if the movie producers didn't play with the plates of all the vehicles of the movie... ![]() ![]() 2003-2007 Jaguar XJ X350 // 2007-2009 XJ X358 model with the thin spoiler on the trunk lid and the full width chrome bar => 2003 Jaguar XJ8 [X350] -- Last edit: 2014-03-31 22:33:41 |

My mistake. I just found non-chromed XJ6 an chromed XJ8, so I thought it was a distinctive detail... But what should I say against your ultimate proof, a James Bond car? ![]() ![]() A "de-chromed rear lights" Jaguar XJ8 in Casino Royale Was the chrome standard for all, and "de-chroming" an option, like shown in the table 2004 Jaguar XJ brochure (page 6)? Full de-chroming pack option on an X350 XJ8. Bigger and more pictures here. /!\ There is some bug (or script?) in the jag-lovers site that makes their pictures disappear and being replaced by their 404 error picture, some times. You just have to... wait and refresh the page, or click to see the picture directly on their site... /!\ -- Last edit: 2014-04-01 02:51:09 |

@eLMeR: They block direct links to images. It's deliberate, not a bug. |

@ Gag Halfrunt: in fact, it work for a small time, and then blocks. I don't really understand that way of doing: it would be a good way to bring people to their website, as curious people can see the source of the picture with a single right click... Nevertheless, I changed the pictures. But the previous link stay on their brochure, as I didn't find any other website with the options table. -- Last edit: 2014-04-01 02:52:58 |

This one should be at least listed as a 2003 model: > 2003 Jaguar XJ [X350]? |
