CGI, possibly Made For Movie?

Doesn't look like a real car to me.

Filmed in Canada. Maybe a secondhand JDM import?

A non-compliant car would have to be at least fifteen years old to be registered in Canada. But it appears to be RHD based on the windscreen wipers, so it might be a newer Japanese car.

Are they allowed to use 2001 JDM model in Canada?

I'd say 1 star. It appears as a background vehicle in a few scenes, clearly by reusing the same vehicles.

Québec pushed back the law to 25 years a few years ago for RHD cars ( unless it was registered before the law modification ) but i don't know for other provinces

Beige metallic (4P7) was available from July 2002 onwards.

I do like her design, though, for what it's worth. :)

Bit of a goof, as Michigan doesn't use front plates.

i'd say the car is a bigger goof than the plate... :D
