Bareiros, ou Barreiros? |

If the number plate is genuine, the bus was not built by Barreiros (founded in 1954) but re-engined with a Barreiros diesel engine in the 1950s or 1960s. See /vehicle_224303-Chevrolet-Master-Utility-TB-1938.html for an example. -- Last edit: 2014-01-20 01:55:47 |

I can't find other examples of Barreiros buses with normal control chassis, so I think this has to be a bus from another manufacturer modernised with a Barreiros engine, as with /vehicle_224303-Chevrolet-Master-Utility-TB-1938.html |

Yes, I also thougt that. That's the reason I left blank the model origin, but as I got confused writting the make, it had been corrected and the model origin came with... I just identified the logo and wrote Barreiros to help the identification... We could leave all as unknown if you judge better... |

We could leave it as unknown but include Barreiros in the extra info, as with that other example. -- Last edit: 2014-01-22 01:06:19 |
