The 3.5L V6 isn't really part of the model name - all Veradas had 3.5L V6s. The "Ei" IS part of the model name, however. Code is [KJ] as seen in the VIN. -- Last edit: 2023-08-19 06:48:50 |

Diamante in New Zealand, not Verada |

Hmm, interesting. So you had Magnas and Diamantes there? Or only Diamantes? |

We do have both but the V6 models of this generation were sold as Diamantes :-) |

The ANG plate dates it to 2002 if it was sold new in NZ. Orix New Zealand usually deals in used ex-fleet vehicles so I think it is a good chance that it was sold new in NZ. Definitely not 'built in NZ' though as NZ assembly ceased some years earlier. Like all new cars here it will have been imported fully assembled. -- Last edit: 2014-02-28 05:24:31 |

Yep, a 2002 Diamante 3.5 Ei Super Saloon. These are seriously nice cars. |

In Australia they are considered pretty common. Nice maybe 10 years ago - outdated today. |

Pretty quick as well, with that V6 |

For Aus we use both the Aus code and the Mitsu chassis code. The Aus code probably wasn’t added. Should be there now. -- Last edit: 2023-08-19 08:01:18 |
