Nice find. Early sliding windows and door bins. Film date would mean Mk1 or Mk2 equally common. |

Incredibly rare in Italy. Never seen one. I actually saw a Riley Elf in Rome (with original Italian plate) in december 1978. it was a Mk II in a strange hue of purple in between red and medium pink with a white (or very light anyway) roof. Over-riders fitted April 62 onwards - halfway through Mk1 production - so Mk2 more likely for production numbers. For info, Apr 62 onwards Elf/Hornet also had the normal Mini body seam on front wing - before that it was removed during first 6 months production. |
