Nice find. I'd say 827 by the alloys. |

@ G-MANN: I don't have the full list of Sterling derivatives but the 825 seemed only to be with the luxury trim (S, SL which would have the plain looking alloys or trims) whereas the later 827 also offered sporty versions (Si or SLi) which would have the Roversport alloys as pictured. Some adverts: http://www.productioncars.com/vintage-ads.php/Sterling/827 and some old press photos: Link to "www.caranddriver.com" (with added SVX for antp) show this. So it seems that this is an 827 Si or SLi. I think the SLi was fastback only, but I'm not sure. But, there seems to be no Spoiler, so it may be another model with Roversports added. -- Last edit: 2012-07-07 00:27:42 |

The 827Si tested in this video: http://testdrivejunkie.com/1990-sterling-827-si-test-drive/ lacks a rear spoiler so I guess it was optional. So, with night cub's information I'd say this should be listed as a 1990-91 827Si. -- Last edit: 2012-07-07 01:28:55 |
