UK made? Early 91+ 1.6 LS from full wheel covers, and looks a hatch? |

There was no LS trim level in the Benelux (the car has dutch plates). The range was like this : L, LX, SLX, SGX. |

UK had 1.6 LS from Primera launch in Sept 90 to Jan 92, when replaced by LX (basically just a badge change with standard catalyst, revised sunroof and electric windows added). As this is a 92 film the LS time frame seems most likely, unless you're sure there was no Benelux LS for the first 16 months. -- Last edit: 2012-07-09 05:10:02 |

It can't be a 1991 model and be a 1.6. Early 1.6 models (with carburetor, no injection) had 13" wheels and those wheelcovers are 14". (I know them) If this car in the picture is 1991 then it isn't any 1.6, it should be a 2.0. (since 1.8s were not sold in Europe) Not sure about the trim level though... definitely not SGX nor eGT/eZX. It has to be a SLX or LX. (Color-coded bumpers so it isn't L) Exiv96 said there was no LS trim there and I trust him, we didn't have LS either here. Oh and yes, it is a hatchback; and Ph.I. |
