It's an Opel; Vauxhall are not sold and are rarely imported in the Philippines, But Opels were officially sold in the Philippines in the '60s, '70s and late '80s |

It does have the UK Cavalier-style sloping front, whichever local brand was used. |

Front end (intakes) of the Chevy badged version: /vehicle_430031-Chevrolet-Chevair-1977.html Though, honestly still not confirmed was it called Chevair in Philippines. |

A second one in this film in background of /vehicle.php?id=519605. We have another identified Chevrolet Chevair in the Philippines - /vehicle_430031-Chevrolet-Chevair-1977.html - although not much more info. If these were made in ZA (our best idea so far) it would have meant LHD switch for export - not a big issue, but worth noting. My hunch is local assembly, but no info to confirm. |

1977+ Chevrolet Chevair is the best version on the moment. We have 2 Chevairs on Philippines, why this one can't be Chevair too? /vehicle_583802-Chevrolet-Chevair.html /vehicle_430031-Chevrolet-Chevair-1977.html |
