Only used at the beginning of episode 1 of "The Green Death", although it can be spotted parked in the background in episode 5 when the Doctor escapes from the Global Chemicals HQ in the milk float.

Very little - rear wash wipe from Jan 73 (with full carpeting, more instruments and brushed nylon headlining), Oct 73 vinyl rear pillar, HRW (and repositioned warning light for diff lock).

 The earliest examples of 1970 Range Rovers were fitted with a Powr-Lok center differential, but only about 300 units received this unique feature.

The Powr-Lok is a limited-slip clutch-type differential from the Dana Spicer corporation, and is still being manufactured. It required a special type of gear oil with friction modifier additives.

 According to the commentary on the DVD of "The Green Death," the producer was a huge fan of Land Rovers and Range Rovers, and was prone to insisting they be used a lot, especially in episodes with UNIT. Apparently, he had this Range Rover specially delivered to be the Global Chemicals company car in the serial.
