Ford Capri? |

Yes - 1969+ Mk1 GT. Too small to see if later Mk1 updates. Maybe Aus assembly? |

There was indeed an Australian assmbly- for the MkI at least. This took place in a now long closed facility in a town named Homebush IIRC. |

Foreground car looks Triumph 2000 - possibly early 1964+ Mk1 from opening quarterlights though I don't have an end date. Definite NZ assembly, but unsure if Aus as well. |

They did a bit of filming in Wales. Admittedly I don't know if thatched cottages like this exist in Wales, but I doubt there are any in Australia... |

To clarify, I'm sure this location is in the UK. |

Must be New South Wales then. Cottaging not one of my hobbies, but Welsh thatched cottages tend to be more in SW - Pembrokeshire and nearby - and mainly whitewashed. This looks very Englandshire chalk or limestone - Cotswolds, Essex, E Anglia etc. But if a maroon Peugeot 404 crops up in this sequence ....... |

So it's probably a Dagenham Capri after all. |

^ similar type but geographically several thousand miles apart. Probably reasonably easy to source red ones in both UK and Aus if film continuity meant one was needed in both locations |

First seen driving off into distance, then later outside pub. Looks like a K plate |
