Might it be something for dsl? He might weep into his marmite sandwich when he sees it. |

Is that something similar to Hillman Imp? |

Plate might be UPT 762S / UYT 762S (/vehicle_431019.html) but I can't find anything. The Austin Maxi was Basil Fawlty's car: /vehicle_52745-Austin-Maxi-ADO14-1976.html |

I'm definitely thinking along the lines of an Imp (hence my earlier comment) but if the 1977/78 registration is real then it would rule out the Imp which was discontinued a few years earlier. |

Yes: Hillman Imp |

Floods of tears - salt mixing with salty. Can't offer anything for dating apart from wheels could be early. The only issued plate combination which could make sense against the pictures is UET with a K in Aug/Sept 71, from Rotherham which is across the M1 from Sheffield. -- Last edit: 2012-08-04 04:03:59 |

Different angle: Would make a great desktop background for dsl. |

The car's on fire and there's no driver at the wheel |
