Looks like a big Chrysler from the mid 1970s. Maybe a Newport from 1974-76?

The New Yorker with a grille like that - 1976-78 has hideaway lights.

I think I'll agree with PhilR.

Oh, no.
Definitely either '74 to '75 Imperial or '76 to '78 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham.
They differed only in relatively minor details.
(The top line Chrysler took over the Imperial design after it was discontinued.)

There is a closer side view in the '85 Chevy van photo. Is that enough for someone to make a positive ID?

Tell you what let's do.
I'll list this as a 1976 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham.
Reason: There were far more of them built. And I will use 1976 since I can see no indication of front bumper edging which the '77's and '78's had.

Since there is a much closer view in the '85 Chevy van photo, I'll bet an intermediate shot is available that might show the hood ornament better. If it's a round ornament, the car is an Imperial. If the ornament is square, it's the Chrysler version.
