I love this car's license plate: FSHBWL, referring to the car's design, as fishbowl was one of the car's nicknames. Also, the 'fishbowl' nickname is referenced again in another (yellow) Pacer's name: http://pixar.wikia.com/Fred_Fisbowski Yes, there's actually a trailer screenshot here, proving that he's in the movie for real. |

It even shows the Vin # of this car in the movie! It started out A5 and the rest of it looked pretty legitimate. I should write it down next time I see the movie or something. |

The full VIN is A5B667A372159, absolutely nothing shows up on Google when searched. The VIN when decoded indicates that Acer is a 1975 AMC Pacer 2 door sedan with a 258ci 1v straight six engine assembled in Kenosha. The weird thing is the letter B in the 3rd character space. This space denotes what sort of transmission the setup the car had. The characters A, C, D, E, F, M, O, and S are all valid characters. B however, is not. Interesting that the Pixar crew would make the VIN so close to being a real car but not quite. |

I'm assuming you all on here have seen Wayne's World 1 & 2, Remember the blue with orange flames 1976 Pacer the "Murth-Mobile?" It had a few pretty cool gadgets like a handheld soft drink dispenser and a rope licorice dispenser built into the dome light, I think Wayne's World 1 sort of re-boosted the Pacer's popularity because I remember seeing a lot mirror them on the road than I had in previous years, And in Wayne's World 2, There were 2 customized blue with orange flames '76 Pacers, A convertible and a stretch limo version with tandem rear wheels, I wonder where those Pacers are now, I'm sure they're probably still around. |

"Pacers are ugly cars, they look like their trunk fell off!" Or something like that. |

Actually it was "Gremlins. Man, those are ugly cars. They look like someone stole their trunks." |
