Door mirror suggests LHD. |

I did wonder when I posted, but I wasn't sure that there was a different chassis code for LHD E494As. I wasn't even sure there was such a thing; my Aunt Kate ran an RHD Anglia in Paris, and it had the 1172cc export engine, not the normal 933cc. |

We've got a few LHD Anglias identified as E494A and E93A versions scattered through the database, but mainly European and particularly Scandinavian. There were also US exports from 1948, but with a "unique three-panel grill" (so this is not a US example) and the 1172cc Prefect engine. But I can't trace an export or LHD code - if Ford were consistent, both the re-engine and the LHD could mean a different code. |
