Karl ◊ 2013-10-29 04:14	For you lovers of 60's and 70's sitcoms, this is Mayberry Courthouse on the far left, just this side of the blue panel truck. Then coming this way, Floyd's Barbershop, the grocery store, the alley between the grocery store and the Mayberry Hotel, then the Mayberry Hotel. On the right is the building which sits on an island, sort of. It contained Walker's Drug Store, which is the entrance we see here. On the right side, off screen, was several businesses, including a one time print shop. Behind it is All Soul's Church. This particular angle is similar to one seen in a couple Star Trek episodes. In one, Miri, I think, Walker's drug is labeled "Rusk Hotel". This appears to be in the final years / days of the DesiLu '40 acre' back lot. Many DesiLu products were shot here.
