It was commissioned by real estate developer/car enthusiast Barry Watkins and constructed in 1992; it was quite a few auto shows in '92 and '93, if I recall. It wasn't a kit or mock-up. It had a running drivetrain with a unique-to-Bizzarrini 12-cylinder engine. (I think it did have some Testarossa chassis pieces underneath, though). Watkins intended to go into production and even took a few deposits, but nothing ever came of it. So it's pretty interesting to see it turn up in a tv series cameo ...
