Be happy, that our well-known specific Tempo-fetishist is not here any more. Then you could expect some hard talking-to ![]() ![]() |

It is a Tempo. The Topaz had a more "formal" roofline. 1988-1991 |

Explorer4x4 is still here (albeit under a different user name) /profile.php?id=TheJudge He seems not to visit as much as he once did. |

To be fair to him, though, he's not a bother anymore. He seems to have matured a bit more. |

I can certainly feel the love up in here... This here is either a 1988 or a 1989 Ford Tempo. I got a hold of several legitment Ford-issue documents for Tempo and Topaz last week. Pretty excited about it. Mostly marketing division issued product changes announcements or sales rep material. Nonetheless, learned a few new things! Despite my new-found knowledge of year-by-year changes to Tempo, I still can't pinpoint whether this is a 1988 or 1989. ![]() |

Can we compare such a tragic love for Tempo with Ingo's passion for NSU K70? |

One thing is for sure if it wasn't for either of them most people on here would have no idea what either car was. |

Well...do we know at least one strong point of Tempo? |

On vacations I've also spotted for Tempos/Topazes (sure, the IMCBD-requirements were always in mind ![]() Same aged Chrysler LeBarons, K-Cars, VW Jetta II or GM J-bodies were owned by fans, mostly younger guys - but no Tempo or Topaz. None. |
