It seems that this front end was introduced first in 1987/88 (maybe only for the 5-door bodies at the beginning), but didn't replace the old one - both were available: http://www.autowp.ru/picture/138074 BTW. As I've just noticed, the mentioned Russian site has been updated = the name Sputnik for early (pre-1992) Samaras seen in Russia/USSR is back, since they corrected their informations.  |
