Police car: Chevrolet Goldish car at right: 1960 Mercury 2-door hardtop, possibly Monterey Cruiser Black car with white fin inserts above it: Probably a late 1950's Rambler White convertible at center: unknown Red/white coupe at left-center: Late 1950's Studebaker/Packard Hawk Black with white stripe sedan at left: unknown |

Probably a Chevy Biscayne. 1967 is my guess. |

1967 is correct for the Chevy. Exciting find! I know the photo quality is poor but the black car parked on the street with the white stripe appears to be a 1957 Packard Clipper. Quite rare. The white car with the red fin insert is indeed a Studebaker Hawk of 1957 or 1958 or a 1958 Packard Hawk. (If a Studebaker, and if no "B" pillar, it is a Golden Hawk. If it has a "B" post, it is a Studebaker Silver Hawk. All Packard Hawks were hardtops - no coupe version) |

Those taillights don't convince me this is a Biscayne. In fact, it looks more like an Impala! I never thought Impalas were used as police cars until the decline of the Bel Air during the mid-1970's. Biscaynes just had four red and white taillights. -- Last edit: 2009-09-03 23:53:27 |

1968 model Biscaynes had 4 red/white tail lights, where as Bel Airs, Impalas and Caprices had 6. But 1967 models were like what's pictured here. I don't think they would use an Impala as a Police Car in 1968, unless this is just a fake police car made for the movie, hah. I think the '67 and '68 fullsize Chevy's were one of the most attractive designs GM has ever made. -- Last edit: 2009-09-04 02:38:44 |

It's a 1967 Bel-Air. Six lights and chrome stip along the middle of the side. Biscayne four lights and no chrome on side. Impala had chrome along lower rocker.. -- Last edit: 2009-09-04 03:42:46 |

This has six taillights, and I say every full-size Chevy between 1965 and 1968 were the most attractive ones. Maybe this is a fake police car for the movie. |

I have to agree with Ddey65 on this one, based on the taillights it has to be a 1967 Impala 1967 Bel Air Taillights: http://www.trouble-mag.net/images/belair4.jpg 1967 Biscayne Taillights: Link to "media.motortopia.com" 1967 Caprice Taillights: http://automotivehistoryonline.com/1967%20Chevrolet%20Caprice-r.jpg 1967 Impala Taillights: http://www.adclassix.com/images/67chevroletimpalasscoupe.jpg the Impala in the link is a coupe but you can see the taillights are the same as the one above |

The problem with the Bel Air that tonkatracker showed us, is that it's a 1966, not a 1967. Other than that, he's right on target. Here's the '67 Bel Air: http://oldcarbrochures.com/main.php?g2_itemId=24185 -- Last edit: 2009-09-04 06:52:55 |

Because was right Impala had chrome along lower rocker Biscayne four lights and no chrome on side 1967 Bel-Air. Six lights and chrome stip along the middle of the side -- Last edit: 2009-09-04 14:23:36 |

Hate to tell you this vilero but your link to the 67 Bel Air is the same on that Ddey65 posted showing that the taillights DO NOT MATCH. |

Heres a good link to some brochures of '67 fullsize Chevys. http://www.oldcarbrochures.com/main.php?g2_itemId=24150 Personally, I think it's a fake police car made out of an Impala. |

^ Yes that is the site that both vilero and Ddey65 posted |

You really didn't open the links. Ddey posted a link for a two door. My link is for a four door. Impala BIG chrome along lower rocker (open the link). Bel Air 6 six rear lights http://classiccars.com/37583.car http://classiccars.com/Uploads/Classifieds/227457.jpg and a thin chrome bar in the centre of the side. Edited:Nex time check better your links This in what you are based is from a "custom" Chevrolet Limousine http://www.trouble-mag.net/belair.shtml nothing the same than a 1967 Chevrolet. See the fronts of '67 chevys Bel Air, Biscayne and Impala and compare. This link is a fake about '67 Chevrolet -- Last edit: 2009-09-04 21:14:00 |

Actually I did open the links, I said nothing about the Chrome on the rocker I was just talking about the taillights In the following links, the first ones you provided the one marked "1967 Bel-Air. Six lights and chrome stip along the middle of the side" LINKS TO A 2 Door BEL AIR (the front of one at that) and when you go to the next picture in the link it shows the rear of the same coupe (the same on Ddey65 posted) and as for the "custom" Chevrolet Limousine link that I originally posted, It was previously noted by Ddey65 and then myself that that picture was not what I meant to link, an accident The only reason I didn't edit it is that it would have made Ddey65's reply seem unwarranted In this ^ set of links you have linked a 4-door -- Last edit: 2009-09-04 21:32:33 |

If I linked a 4-Door is because the car of the main pic is a Four Door![]() |
