Possibly a 1937 to 1940 Standard Flying 14. |

1937 Standard Flying Fourteen has rear suicide doors, smaller rear-most glass and different panel form... |

I'd say it is a 1938-40 Hillman 14... http://www.charterhouse-auctions.co.uk/images/cs14%20Hillman14lres.JPG or a Humber 16 of the same vintage. http://www.classiccarcatalogue.com/H/humber%201938%2016_saloon.jpg A front view would help to be more precise – what we have of the body in the picture looks the same on both cars. |

The Standard was only offered as a possible, the Standard Ten and the Flying V-8 did not have suicide doors at the rear, but the Hillman 14/early Humber Hawk looks mor suitable. |
