Rather plain 2000+ model, not the high-performance haul a$$ version. |

Wonder what that car behind it is. |

The picture is quite blurred, mixing the car's lines and curves together, but in my honest opinion, given the approximant shape, it could be a Lexus GS 300/400. Lexus had a sissy off hue Gold/Champagne color (called Mystic Gold by Lexus) which was used on the GS. -- Last edit: 2009-06-28 15:00:28 |

This is not a 2000 model because it has clear indicators. The original 2000 model X5 had orange indicators at the back. I don't know what year they were changed to clear but I think it was around 2002? -- Last edit: 2013-10-12 19:01:17 |

Which indicators do you mean? They were clear from 2000 on. http://rwd-cars.de/pics/BMW-X5-E53-004.jpg |

There were different taillights, like on the 3-Series E46 ![]() |

In the U.S., I believe the face lift for both the front and back occurred for the 2004 MY. -- Last edit: 2015-09-24 19:14:23 |
