Due to the grille that is visible on the blurry main pic, I wonder whether it is a Horch, but the side trim on the smaller pictures looks rather as if that's not the case. Still, there was a very rare so-called "Horch 855 Spezialroadster" in the late 1930s which looked very similar. -- Last edit: 2009-10-22 04:35:38 |

No doubt it is some Auto Union product. I'm pretty sure it's the (recentle rebuilt) 1935 Audi Front 225 Roadster. One of these was used in the late 30s by the 'Reichsbahnzentrale für den deutschen reiseverkehr', to make lots of nice pictures of the beauties of Germany's towns and countryside... |

I guess you're right. The shown car is fairly too small to be one of those pompuous Horchs. |

Still, there are some details that appear to be different. |

Now I'm not sure of this. The doors of the car look higher than in 1935 Audi 225 Roadster |

Vilero, that is exactly what I meant. I also think that the chrome stripes are slightly different. The companies which belonged to Auto Union cooperated with so many coachbuilders that there a numerous posibilities. |
