It was listed as sedan, but I guess it is rather a wagon. |

Body style was "saloon" so a sedan. All other Austin 10s are listed as sedan as well. Although it does look more like a wagon here. |

I think this is a coachbuilt wagon. It isn't a van conversion as AFAIK there wasn't a factory van version of this model of Austin 10. |

There was an Austin Ten Van [GV1] based on the Ten Saloon [GS1] but the only pictures I can find shows a higher roofline as here... /vehicle_237368-Austin-Ten-Van-GV1-1946.html Also from the information I found, it was possibly only produced after WWII but I guess a few could have been made in 1939. If two body sizes were produced, this could be a factory made van rather than a coach-built conversion I guess. The side windows definitely look like a modification. |
