UPDATE: One Ton GMC's are 250's, so depending on the wheelbase, this is either a 251, 252, or 253, if it is a GMC. 350's are Two Tons.

And later I found this [Image: 146631-1955GMC250Stake.jpg] as 1955 GMC 250 Stake Body, so it's a GMC 250. To keep same type of listing with the other (at this moment)GMC 250, it would be GMC 250 Series.

Shorter wheelbase and smaller stake rack height than shown in vilero's picture makes it more likely a 150 model. Dual rear wheels were optional for both, so it can't be used as a clue:

(150 brochure // 250 one)

The usual wheelbase for the 150 models of that era was the 123¼"/3.13 m one, giving this truck the 152 GMC code (150 model and 2nd available wheelbase).
