By the colour (Gris Satiné, AC 226) and the black plastic strip on the bumper, this will be a 1966 model. Difficult to see wether it's an AZM3 (with 425cc engine) or an AZAM 6 (with 602cc engine and an exhaust pipe to the rear of the car). |

You' re probably right Mike, and I wonder if I'm not wrong with AZAM 6, because of bumpers. The AZAM 6 had enforced overiders as the french AZAM, this one seems having not ... could it be rather an AZM3 for this reason? |

I was hesitating about this as well... But the overriders are too thin to be the 'normal' ones, they just look a bit odd because the pic is 'slightly' blurred. And the AZM3 had the same paperclip overriders as the AZAM(6). Only the AZA had the normal bumpers and overriders, but these had, even in Belgium, indicators on the C-pillar... There was also an AZL3 with the front indicators, but these had alloy bumpers. I hoped there would have been a pic from the rear on which one could see the presence or absence of an exhaust pipe, but /vehicle_202900-Peugeot-504-1975.html isn't much help. Btw, the grille is too old, one can see the double chevron above it, that match with the grille with three bars. |
