No, XL is a trim. The one after this one would be XLT, which is a higher trim. Is 'Extended Length' really necessary as part of the name? Or perhaps even 'Passenger Van?' |

I'm not even sure XL would be part of the name. I don't recall these earlier Econolines having XL or XLT anywhere on the badging. Either way, it's a 1992-1994 model. |

"Extended Length" can be shorted to just "Extended" (as Ford uses just Extended) and "Passenger Van" is overly redundant information, its obvious these are passenger vans. |
