The one pictured is technically the Suzuki Equator RMZ-4 Concept, one of three concepts based on the standard Equator that were used to introduce the model at the 2008 Chicago Auto Show. Link to "www.autoblog.com" |

Still the only Equator on the site? That's weird; I see one almost every day... ![]() |

saw more Peugeot 405 in my life than i saw that pick-up truck so far the score is Peugeot 405 : 3 Suzuki Equator : 1 with results like this, no wonders why Suzuki left the market here ( did they withdraw their car division from US too or just in Canada ? ) -- Last edit: 2015-06-24 06:49:48 |

Yes, Suzuki left both the U.S. and Canadian markets after the division there filed for bankruptcy in late 2012 due to declining sales and completely withdrew by early 2013. |

I saw one recently in a news report, but of course we don't list local news on IMCDb. ![]() |

You haven't seen many because they only sold around 8,200 in a 4 1/2 year span in the U.S. In Canada, they sold 481 total, so it doesn't surprise me that Baube has only seen one. By comparison, Nissan sold about 210,000 Frontiers in the U.S. And about 11,000 in Canada during the same time frame. -- Last edit: 2015-06-24 10:44:11 |

Wow, didn't realize they were so rare. My neighbor owns one, and I saw around 2 or 3 these past few weeks. |

I saw one of these the other day while I was at the bus stop! Belongs to a local so I see it often. |

i know my old comment is from nearly 7 years ago but i just want to specify i'm still waiting to see my 2nd one ( in the meanwhile i saw so many exotics that i wonder with all that cash being spend on cars .. i can't believe Suzuki sold only one in the whole province... ) -- Last edit: 2022-05-01 02:24:10 |

I never saw one either. I saw a little Suzuki hatchback yesterday on my little vacation to Lancaster PA. 3 letter name on the hatch. I forget the model of the hatchback. Edit: i got confused with ford’s zx4. The model was the SX4. -- Last edit: 2022-05-01 14:33:55 |
