Yes, it's a hardtop sedan, seems they were called simply "Sedan". Link to "www.oldcarbrochures.org" Link to "www.oldcarbrochures.org" -- Last edit: 2012-10-11 14:20:20 |

Four door hardtop sedan. Oldsmobile pioneered this body style circa 1955 and called it a Holiday sedan on full size cars. Other auto makers followed. As far as Oldsmobile was concerned they seemed to be available on 88 and 98 until 1976. Debuted on Cutlass Supreme line in 1966 and remained an option until through 1972 on the Cutlass also referred to as holiday sedans. The picture is a 1972 Olds 98 four door hardtop holiday sedan. Very nice white interior. The car sounds strong in the movie. -- Last edit: 2014-02-12 20:30:20 |

Olds usually referred to these four doors as holiday hardtop sedans. Olds was the first with this body style circa 1955. Other auto makers followed. |

Olds pioneered this pillarless 4dr sedan circa 1955 and made it until 1976. Other automakers followed. For example check out Baretta's blue Chevy used in that TV series and you will find it to be a 4dr hardtop also. |
