... But Monte Carlo with this older design was "civilian" version. Well some seems used it later in rallies, but with such colors and lettering were the works team cars, called by FSO "rajdowy". On 1972 Monte, car #52 a 125p driven by Robert Mucha/Lech Jaworowicz finished 24th and won its class. |

Yes, due to this win and the one in Acropolis, in 1974 FSO introduced two limited, sport versions - "Monte Carlo 1600" and "Akropolis 1800".
