That badge above on the trunk lid is actually a bumper sticker saying "ARMY". Bill Dautrieve is a "Sergeant-Barber" in the US Army. |

I swear Bill had an older Hyundai in one or 2 episodes. I may be mistaken though |

That was owned by Dale Gribble in Season 8 Episode 3 only. It supposedly belonged to Deion Sanders, despite it being a non-running rust bucket. It ends up flipped over in Hank's backyard after a confrontation with "Big Willie Lane". |

"TaKing CaRe oF BuSinEss, wOrKinG oVeRtIme!" In episode 11.09, Peggy and Dale steal the Escort to fake their deaths to break out of a lifelong contract with a kitchen manufacturer. They plan to roll the car off the cliff, but Bill being Bill, he completely neglects to have the tires adjusted, causing it to swerve away from the edge and into a tree, deploying the airbags. I believe that would make it at least a 1986 as the previous years had the two-spoke steering wheel which didn't look like it would fit an airbag. It also deploys the passenger airbag which I'm not even sure it got. Side note: I've seen the car for eleven seasons now and the grille is definitely more 1982-85 as it's always drawn with the plum in the middle. Make of that what you will. -- Last edit: 2023-02-28 20:57:56 |
