midnight_trucker ◊ 2025-11-16 12:21	The truck that Todd White was driving for Hugh Rowland during Season One is a 1995 Freightliner FLD-120 that has a S-60 460HP Detroit Engine and a 15 Speed Transmission During Season One there was a q & a with Rick Yemm the day after the fourth episode of Season One premiered and than there was also a q & a with Hugh Rowland during Season One the day after the second off the ice episode premiered One question that Hugh Rowland was asked was how did he get all four of his trucks home after loosing all of his drivers and his response was that he sold the White 1995 Freightliner FLD-120 Flattop Todd White was driving and the Gold 1993 Freightliner FLD-120 Drew Sherwood was driving to a mutual friend of both his and Alex Debogorski's that resides in Yellowknife after the Ice Road Season was over and a year later in 2008 the mutual friend also ended up buying the Silver 1994 Freightliner FLD-120 Flattop that Alex Debogorski was driving during Season One of Ice Road Truckers in which the mutual friend still owns all three of these trucks today that the mutual friend runs year around as company trucks that are over the road during the summer time and than still run on the Ice Roads in Yellowknife during the winter time The other two trucks that Hugh Rowland owned during Season One ended up going home with him to Kelowna in which Hugh Rowland still owns both of those two trucks today After firing Todd White and after both Drew Sherwood and Rick Yemm quit Hugh Rowland ended up replacing Todd White with Danny Reese who was seen driving Drew Sherwood's Gold Freightliner FLD-120 in one episode and than also ended up replacing Drew Sherwood with Al Donovan which is who was driving TJ Tilcox's Volvo before TJ Tilcox ended up being assigned to the truck When Danny Reese was seen on Ice Road Truckers one concern he had with the Gold Freightliner FLD-120 was that the turbo in the truck was on it's way out in which it later did become a problem after seven trips and that was a week before Rick Yemm ended up quitting, So, Hugh Rowland got the White Freightliner FLD-120 Flattop to turn over and Danny Reese drove that truck for the remainder of the Ice Road Season for another seven trips and Danny Reese would of been the last assigned driver to the White Freightliner FLD-120 Flattop while Hugh Rowland owned the truck after Drew Sherwood got out of the truck A clip is shown in the last episode of Season One with Hugh Rowland trying to get the White Freightliner FLD-120 Flattop to turn over for Danny Reese when it was edited on the show when he said that he choice of two different trucks to drive when in reality the White Freightliner FLD-120 Flattop was already back up and running going up and down the Ice Roads off of the cameras at that time After the turbo was fixed in the Gold Freightliner FLD-120 Al Donovan ended up coming back to the Ice Roads a week after Rick Yemm ended up quitting and he ended up doing ten trips in the Gold Freightliner FLD-120 for the remainder of the Ice Road Season off of the cameras So, It was edited on the show as Hugh Rowland actually only ever really had one truck to drive when he had his accident with the Crowsnest in which the only truck available at that time was the truck that was previously driven by Rick Yemm Al Donovan lived somewhere out in the east, So, He was flown back on an air plane ride home after driving the Gold Freightliner FLD-120 which only left Danny Reese to bring home one of the trucks to Kelowna after Season One was completed being filmed Hugh Rowland ended up buying this truck in Summer of 2003 for his fleet of Ice Road Trucks -- Last edit: 2025-11-16 12:32:38
