DynaMike ◊ 2007-03-05 21:16	Indeed it seems to be the first Gmünd-built Porsche 356, presented on the 8th of June 1948. It had a Volkswagen engine in front of the rear wheels (sort of Boxster ) Origin should be Austria, not Germany, I'd say.

There are signs that Porsche didn't use NEW VW engines but used ones for the very first cars...
