In Europe the blacked out 'B' pillar (see thumbnail) would make it an XJ6, so not a Sovereign or XJ12 which had a bright-stainless finish. |

Actually I believe this is a Daimler (different boot lid handle to the Jaguar XJ) |

Gold name badges also indicate Daimler too I believe and possibly the chrome mirrors. Right hand badge too long to be Six. I'll say Double Six. |

If you can translate the -very complicated and bureaucratic constructed- Danish plate-combination-code, you can find out a lot - but not details about the car itself, as in Sweden, Holland or Britain. |

Actually badges were the same size, see photos linked to here: /vehicle_215903-Daimler-Six-X300-1995.html And I don't think you can tell what's printed on it here. |

I mean the length and shape of the writing, there seems to be too much there for it just to be Six with a pin stripe. It is difficult to tell though, so maybe rename to just Daimler pending someone adding a view a few frames on for the thumbnail that'll show the badge more clearly. |

Found this film in HD: http://kset.kz/video/view/2934135 You were right. ![]() Appears at 1:01:55 Had to shrink the pic for the site of course, but it's clear as day. I've also made one for the main image. -- Last edit: 2013-10-23 03:15:14 |

I'd upgrade this to HD using that source, but the video's not working. ![]() |
