To my opinion, it is a late 1939 or one of the very rare 1940 Rover drophead coupe by Tickford.The front door is equiped with a little triangle window (quarter lights). None of the earlier models had such. After the war Rover build a lot of tourers (cutout in the door and less powerful engines, no pram irons etc.), but no dropheads P2. The drophead coupes were based on the Rover sports saloon. The 1939/1940 top models 16hp DHC and 20hp DHC had none spoked wheels because they had the forerunners of the 1940-1947 axles.It\'s difficult to see, but I suppose this car has spoked wheels so it is a 14hp dhc.
