Look, not French-made,but locally made in ZA by Sigma Motor Corp.(a ZA joint-venture thru Mazda,Mitsubishi,Peugeot and Chrysler ZA,set up in 1977)in a unique trim,SR,based still on 1st series 305 coque PS That car was listed on a car annual of my collection since 1980 issue,so believe production in ZA was started some years later of European launch--1978--so 1979 circa(1985 issue listed it for the last time, believe, due at later breaking of Sigma Motors'joint-venture) PS Sigma Motor Corp.will assembly also other Peugeots, the 504(Saloon and Wagon,or better"Stasiewa"as said in Afrikaans idiom on sales literature)and 505(only Saloon) |
