2002 only by movie year and no weight badge on doors. Is that the OnStar antenna or just a shadow? -- Last edit: 2019-09-25 20:42:27 |

2001s do not have weight class badges. 2001 brochure: Link to "www.ebay.com" Gtcarlot has pretty much all the 2001s listed without a weight class badge: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/Chevrolet/Suburban/2001/ |

Between 8/00 & 11/00 the door badges were removed. So really early 2001s have a door badge. 11/00 VIN: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/44866675-11.html - no badge. 8/00 VIN: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/42001514-17.html So,ewhere between August of 2000 and November 2000 the door badge was removed from production. |

I found a July 25, 2000 built 2001 2500 LT. Build date comes from running the VIN through Compnine. 3GNGK26U21G106128 https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/772756862/overview/ Found a 9/00 1500 LS at Copart without door badges. https://www.copart.com/lot/50450799 3GNFK16T01G132997 -- Last edit: 2019-10-09 14:33:08 |

At least know we know 7/00 & 8/00 built 2001 MYs have door badges. 9/00+ do not have them. Nice sleuthing ![]() |
