Why Galant Sigma and not just Galant? |

Because would exist either the Galant Sigma and the Galant Lambda in the mid-Seventies; of this late had seen a photo on a 1977 world cars annual and was shown with coupè body(that known in Europe as Galant Sapporo),but don't be excluded that exist also them in saloon variation, like the Galant Sigma(seems that names Sigma and Lambda--an homage to '20s Lancias?--depending by the kind of engine fitted) PS In Italy the sole Mitsubishi Galant saloon to be marketed was the 2300 Turbo Diesel, thru 1982-1983(was the second type of Mitsubishi car to be imported in Italy, after the FWD-Colt 1200-1400 in 1980) |
