This is a 208 gts turbo from around 1986 for the Italian market(NACA duct in front of the rear wheel and slots cut into the rear bumper) |

isn't that a 308? |

Trust Me, it's a 208 GTS for the Italian market only. Ferrari fitted a 2 litre turbo v8 due to the fact that cars with engines over 2 litres are taxed to an horrific level in italy. |

Obvious 328 body, so yes 2.0lt turbo but no "208" in the name. Just plain "GTS Turbo". 828 made officially. -- Last edit: 2020-02-01 13:18:39 |

Agreed. 208 GTB and GTS without turbo were made 80-82 mainly for Italy (and apparently Portugal and New Zealand due to local tax quirks), apparently about 160 GTB and 140 GTS, and had 308-like details. Then in late 82/early 83 they got the Turbo as 208 GTB/GTS Turbo, now with the 2nd duct in front of rear wheels and with the 308's optional deep front spoiler fitted as standard; 437 208 GTB Turbo and 250 208 GTS Turbo made. Relaunch in 86 as Turbo GTB and GTS (without 208 in name) picked up 328 revisions and the 5 vents in rear bumper, 308 (yes really - that's an actual number not a model name this time) GTB Turbos and 828 GTS Turbos until 1989. |

Yep. And that is one of the smallest V8's ever marketed. |
