Hi there old car fans. This was my car that I rented to the production company of Billy Bathgate. A friend of mine, John Musemecci, was handling the cars for the film. He said that they were looking for a 1935 Packard 120 Convertible which of course this is. He thought they may have wanted a different color but they were happy with mine. I remember driving it to Manhattan to show the company and to give Nicole Kidman some driving lessons. She didn't need them! It is most definitely a 1935
model which was the first year for the 120 series. The 1936 model had different bumpers. You can take this info to the bank!
The car was shipped to Saratoga and was in use for a month. As a point of information I had sold the vehicle prior to the shoot, to a gentleman from Belgium. He was kind enough to wait for the end of filming. It was a ground up restoration done by the previous owner. It was a swell car. I miss it.

Also, between the 1935, 1936, and 1937 120s, only the 1935 had "suicide" doors like the one pictured.
